Okey Okere, Director of the Impact Centre for Great Leadership, recently shared in a Goodmorning BSN! session, exciting developments about this new initiative. The ICGL, a collaborative effort between Business School Netherlands, the Culture Factor Group, and Chint Global, aims to bridge the gap between academia and the corporate world by developing outstanding leaders.
The mission of the Impact Centre
The Impact Centre for Great Leadership (ICGL) is dedicated to fostering leadership qualities across four essential pillars: responsible leadership, change leadership, decision-making leadership, and performance leadership. Through various programmes, including the weekly Goodmorning BSN webinars, the Centre equips leaders with the tools and insights they need to excel in their roles and drive positive change within their organisations and communities.
Upcoming initiative: The journal for Great Leadership
One of the most exciting developments from the ICGL is the creation of the Journal for Great Leadership. This journal will serve as a resource for business and organisational leaders worldwide, offering fresh, insightful knowledge and practical strategies. The journal aims to convert MBA and DBA theses, as well as Action Learning Projects (ALPs), into accessible, easy-to-read articles that blend academic rigour with practical relevance.
Goals of the journal
The Journal for Great Leadership has several ambitious goals:
- Knowledge Sharing: Disseminate valuable insights from BSN’s vast network of alumni and students to a global audience;
- Impact Measurement: Develop frameworks and tools to help leaders measure and enhance their organisational impact;
- Networking Opportunities: Foster connections among leaders from diverse sectors, facilitating collaboration and personal growth;
- Sustainability and Performance: Promote leadership practices that drive sustainable financial results and operational efficiency.
“Our mission in the Impact Centre for Great Leadership is to help develop leaders who are more responsible, focused on change, capable of making informed decisions, and dedicated to achieving sustainable performance.”
